This was a bit difficult to catagorize. I was going to put it in to the Landscape/Scenery catagory because of the background, but I decided it to be best to put this in the Other catagory.
This took a while to draw, but I'm glad it turned out how it did. The scan didn't take too much away from it either, which is pretty cool. The only part of it that really got cut away was my signature.
Now, here's a question. How does one add the signatures that pretty much take up the whole drawing (I don't know what they're called) to the image? I'm getting a smidge paranoid about my work because I don't want my artwork to be stolen, and all I can manage right now is to type up my name and date on the page, and I suppose I could put it in the center of the image, but I fear the eyes would be drawn to that and not the drawing itself, and with the semi-transparent signatures, you can, for lack of better term, blur it out and easily concentrate on the image (or at least that's what I think). If anyone has an answer for me, please, by all means, respond; it would be much appretiated.
To make your own watermark, you need photoshop or a program that does layers (paint shop pro or gimp do, I believe). When you type your name, you can then make that layer transparent.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
